General Information
Please be aware that each switch plate cover is individually made and no two look exactly alike. Both the color and the texture will vary. Let me know if you want sets that will be near each other so that I can select them together. Each glass cover is mounted on a UL-listed metal switch plate cover. Screws are included.

Type
My switch plate covers are made for standard toggle switches. At this time, I am not making covers for modern style flat toggles. Most dimmer switches will not work with these covers since the glass adds about 3/16" thickness to the cover.

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Postage and handling costs are an additional 10% for shipment within the continental United States. These sizes are available in each of the styles shown below. Colors are listed in each description below.

Returns
Use the contact form to contact me for a return authorization. Covers must be returned within 30 days in resalable condition. 

Iridizing Color
Most of the color you see in the switch plate covers comes from the iridizing. The iridized coating consists of a thin layer of metallic salts that are sprayed on while the glass is around 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. This coating permanently bonds to the glass. The color reflected by the iridizing depends on how thick the layer is at that given area. Some of the texture is already in the glass when it is sprayed, causing thicker and thinner sections in the coating. Additional texturing is added during the fusing process. The end result is that there is very seldom a single color of iridizing, even on a smooth piece of glass. Therefore you should expect variations in color. 

Glass Color
The covers are made with black and colored transparent iridized glasses. With black glass, the only color comes from the iridizing on the surface of the glass. Some styles are available in colored transparent glass that is dark enough to obscure the electrical stuff behind it. The end result is a subtle shift in the color of the switch cover. The metallic iridizing softens the brighter glass colors, giving them an opulent look that is equally at home with traditional oriental rugs or modern furniture.

Switch Plate Covers
Switch plate covers are available in four styles:

Most of the Gradient series are silver to gold to purple to blue and occasionally some green, always in that order. Some have very little silver, while others have only a small amount of purple.

Dots covers are only on black glass and always multicolor. 

Craftsman (shown on black glass) (click to enlarge)

Craftsman is a tribute to the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 19^th and early 20^th centuries. It was a time when a handshake was as good as a written contract and the word craft meant something that took more than an hour on the weekend to learn how to do. If you’re thinking about sprucing up the old bungalow, this might be the one.

I love the photographs of Earth taken from space. Topography is in response to those images. Again, this one is always multi-colored, but there will be a predominant theme.
